The 1970 category on Australia's Consolidated List for individuals and entities designated under the United Nations Libya sanctions regime, established by Security Council resolution 1970 in February 2011. The committee it created administers a travel ban, an asset freeze and a two-way arms embargo, with later vessel-related petroleum measures; Australia gives effect to the designations under the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 rather than through a separate national instrument.
