Executive Order 14014, signed on 10 February 2021 after Burma's military overthrew the elected civilian government on 1 February, authorises the US Treasury to block officials and entities of the post-coup authorities, leaders of the military and security forces, persons operating in Burma's defence sector or other designated sectors, their spouses and adult children, and those providing them material support.
