GLOMAG

Global Magnitsky sanctions are imposed under Executive Order 13818, signed on 20 December 2017, which implements and builds on the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act. Unlike country-specific programs, it is thematic: the US Treasury can block the assets of foreign persons anywhere involved in serious human rights abuse or corruption, including misappropriation of state assets and bribery, and suspend their US entry.
