GTM

GTM denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of the situation in Guatemala, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2024/287 and an accompanying Council Decision of 12 January 2024. The framework targets those responsible for actions undermining democracy, the rule of law or the peaceful transfer of power in Guatemala, providing freezing of funds and economic resources, prohibitions on making funds available and, under the Decision, travel restrictions.
