Libya

The United Nations Libya sanctions regime, overseen by the committee established under Security Council resolution 1970 on 26 February 2011. It administers a two-way arms embargo, a travel ban on listed individuals and an asset freeze on listed individuals and entities, later supplemented by measures against attempts to illicitly export petroleum from Libya on vessels designated under resolutions 2146 (2014) and 2362 (2017).
