MLI

MLI denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 of 28 September 2017 with an accompanying Council Decision. Created to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2374 (2017) against those obstructing the 2015 peace agreement, the framework later added the EU's own listing criteria, and provides asset freezes, prohibitions on making funds available and travel bans.
