SDGT

"Specially Designated Global Terrorist", or SDGT, is the label for persons designated under Executive Order 13224, signed on 23 September 2001 in the aftermath of the 11 September attacks. The order authorises blocking the assets of persons who commit, threaten to commit or support terrorism, and of their financiers and facilitators. Executive Order 13886 of September 2019, "Modernizing Sanctions To Combat Terrorism", updated the counter-terrorism sanctions framework.
