SDNZ

SDNZ denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of activities undermining the stability and political transition of Sudan, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/2147 of 9 October 2023, implementing Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135. Distinct from the older Darfur-related Sudan framework, it provides for a travel ban under the Decision, the freezing of funds and economic resources, and a prohibition on making funds or economic resources available to listed persons and entities.
