Taliban
The United Nations Taliban sanctions regime, overseen by the committee established by Security Council resolution 1988 on 17 June 2011, when the Council split the former resolution 1267 list in two. All states must freeze the assets of designated individuals and entities associated with the Taliban in constituting a threat to Afghanistan's peace, stability and security, bar their travel, and prevent arms supplies to them.
