Executive Order 13685, signed on 19 December 2014, addresses the Crimea region of Ukraine specifically. It prohibits new US investment in Crimea, imports from and exports to the region, and facilitation of such trade, and authorises blocking persons operating in Crimea or leading entities that operate there. The order also suspends US entry for designated persons.
