The Central African Republic (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
The United Kingdom's Central African Republic sanctions regime, made in June 2020 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, with substantive provisions in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. Giving effect to the United Nations sanctions framework previously applied through EU law, it provides asset freezes, travel bans and military-goods trade restrictions to promote the peace, security, stability and human rights of the Central African Republic.
