The Democratic Republic of the Congo (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
The United Kingdom's Democratic Republic of the Congo sanctions regime, made in March 2019 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and fully in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. Implementing the United Nations DRC sanctions framework previously applied through EU law, it provides asset freezes, travel bans and military-goods trade restrictions to promote resolution of conflict, respect for human rights and good governance.
