The Libya (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020

The United Kingdom's Libya sanctions regime, made on 29 December 2020 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, with most provisions in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. It implements United Nations Security Council resolutions on Libya and replaced Council Regulation 2016/44, providing asset freezes, travel bans, trade restrictions, and shipping and aircraft measures in support of Libya's peace, stability and political transition.
