Organization sanctions dossier
CLUB LA MOLIENDA
Club La Molienda is a horse racetrack, restaurant, and bar on the outskirts of Nuevo Laredo that the U.S. Treasury says is controlled by the Cartel del Noreste (CDN), a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization. Treasury calls it the most prominent racetrack in Nuevo Laredo and says it generates revenue for CDN through entrance fees charged to racers and spectators. According to Treasury, it is controlled by CDN founder Miguel Angel Trevino Morales, known as Z-40, and had a gambling partnership with Casino Centenario. OFAC designated it on 13 October 2026 under ILLICIT-DRUGS-EO14059 and SDGT.
